TV and Film
One of the most beautiful country homes in England, Adlington Hall lies in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, set in glorious gardens and surrounded by the impressive and picturesque 2000-acre Adlington estate.
Adlington Hall reflects both the history of English architecture and the 700-year story of a single family, the Leghs. Two sides of the courtyard and the east wing were built in the typical ‘black and white’ Cheshire style. The south front and west wing were added between 1749 and 1757 and are built of red brick.
The highlight of the house is The Great Hall. Here you’ll find the Great Organ, other rooms include the beautiful oak-panelled dining room, the chapel, the Minstrels’ Gallery, the Chinese room, the Number 10 bedroom, and the old nursery. The rooms all display original furniture alongside paintings and portraits that bring to life the story of the house and its occupants.
Adlington Hall and our vast and versatile grounds make an excellent location or backdrop for TV and film productions, both internally and externally. We’re easy to reach from all over the North West and have plenty of parking available. We have worked with independent production companies as well as BBC and ITV and numerous magazine shoots have taken place at the Hall.
