Following on from the success of last year’s event, Adlington Hall and Gardens are delighted to again present Going On A Bear Hunt at Adlington Hall. New and improved this year, with a number of bears hidden for you to find.



Children are invited to come along, with their favourite teddy bear, for a fun packed afternoon.

What to expect:
11:00am – A warm welcome will await you as you arrive at Adlington Hall and Gardens, you will be directed to The Hunting Lodge, where Children and their teddies will be asked to take a seat on the floor. Additional seating will be provided around the room for adults.
11:15am – Story of ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’ by Micheal Rosen, will be read by one of the Adlington Hall team. Children will be provided with noise making apparatus to join in and help bring the story to life.
11:45pm – Drink and a biscuit will be available before we invite you all, including teddies, to take part in our new and exciting bear hunt in the wilderness of the Adlington Hall Estate.
12:00pm – Enjoy your time meandering around the Wilderness hunting for bears… how many bears will you find??
1:00pm – Make your way back to the North Lawn, where you can enjoy time relaxing in the atmospheric Adlington Estate. Why not bring a picnic and enjoy your own ‘Teddy Bear Picnic’, surrounded by nature.

Each child* will be given a ‘goody bag’ with biscuit snack, crayons and activities, that can either been done here or taken away. They will also receive a certificate to say they took part in a Bear Hunt at Adlington Hall.
2:00pm – All guests depart, with lots of lovely memories to share with family and friends.

*Please note only children that have paid the £7.00 admission will receive a Goody Bag.

Suitable for children aged 2 – 7 years. £7.00 per child. 1 accompanying adult included in the child charge.

Additional adults charged at £2.00 per adult

All adults will receive a complimentary Tea/Coffee.
